The S25 is the best value phone in this comparison and has already seen price movement since its Q1 2025 launch. At AU$1,349 for the base model it's AU$500 cheaper than the Pixel 9 Pro XL and over AU$1,500 cheaper than the Fold 7. It's also the lightest at 162g — 59g lighter than the Pixel, which is immediately noticeable in daily carry.
My mum has had the S25 since Q4 2025 and has not complained once. For most people, that's the most honest endorsement I can give. It doesn't win any category outright but it doesn't lose any badly either. For the price, it's the most sensible choice for the majority of buyers.
